Our school is called "Nasza Szkoła" and it's located in Zwrotnicza Street 13 in Mikulczyce, a district of Zabrze. The school is in a 2-storey building. There are about 10 classrooms, a computer lab, a science lab, a big and a small gym and a school canteen, where you can buy sweets and pizzas.

Each class has its own classroom. In front of the school there is a big garden where students can spend the breaks in the spring and in the summer.

Behind the school there are some tennis courts. There is also some extra space for the youngest pupils, where they can play or build the sand castles. Next to the woods there is an area for barbecues which is used during the school nights.

It was a part of the Habsburg Monarchy of Austria in the 16th century, and later it was annexed by the Kingdom of Prussia during the Silesian Wars. Zabrze started to be an important mining centre in 1790 when the first coal mine was opened. In 1922 Zabrze received the civic rights. After the World War 2, Zabrze was assigned to Poland.
